The One-Punch Man Series Its Third Season Is Set to Continue (By 2027)

Perhaps the most shocking revelation, the widely-criticized controversial season that was the third season of One-Punch Man proved insufficient to halt the series' continuation. Season 3 will come back with a subsequent part in 2027—so far away they might as well have dubbed it season 4. Adding to the surprise, animation studio J.C. Staff will still be at the helm. At least this time, director Shinpei Nagai is on board to direct from the outset, which could be taken as a good sign. Yet, the promotional image for the second cour is identical to the one used for season 3, just with characters Saitama and Garou facing different directions. This leads one to believe that, nowadays, they must be trolling the fans.

Ruri Dragon Will Be the First Shonen Jump Anime By Kyoto Animation

Kyoto Animation has forged a reputation for being an top-tier animation studio, distinguishing itself not just for the high caliber of its productions but for the ethical practices of its employees—a rarity in the industry. Ruri Dragon will break that tradition, and what a superb choice it is. The manga by Masaoki Shindo became widespread acclaim when it debuted in 2022 after just a few chapters, but then went into a two-year hiatus due to the author's health issues. When it came back with a more relaxed pace, the series demonstrated it maintained the fans' support and positive sentiment, and now everyone is thrilled about the forthcoming KyoAni adaptation.

Scheduled to launch in July 2026, this one will definitely be on my list of anticipated shows.
